Day 46 Ceduna

Very quick & short Blog tonight, made it to Ceduna, just got back to the van after dinner with Norm & Marg, lovely to finally meet you both. Promise i won't tell anyone about the beds in a Russian hotel!

I fell in love today! I mean you all know i love Vanessa, but today i fell in love with our new Land Rover. Man can that thing Pull! More on this in tomorrow's Blog

Just had a look at the photos of the mine camp. I stayed in a few places like that when I was a young man and loved it !
I didn't see too many Land Rovers in those pictures guys ;-)
I'm getting a few quotes for my Hilux today, she's looking a bit sad at the moment.

Do the minners follow the footy out there?

To answer your question, when I was a kid there were no seatbelts!!!! We all piled in the station wagon to get anywhere and usually our dad was over the limit. Not sure what that says about the way we were bought up however none of us suffered. There wasa crash when I was a high school in which one girl became wheelchair bound and I have lost a few friend sover the years through not wearing seatbelts however it seems to have become a dealt with issue as there are such huge campaigns here in NZ about the road rules (seatbelts, speed, alcohol and drugs).
